Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been doing genealogy for about two years now and am finding it more and more interesting the more in depth I get. I love all the stories of our ancestors! As you can see from my photo, my other main interest is quilting.

You are very welcome. The area in the section had many babies buried there.

Nancy (Upton) Thornburg
Paula, you have such a specific date for the death of Nancy (Upton) Thornburg(h), Memorial# 54316598, I was wondering if you would be willing to share any additional information? I am assuming this is the Nancy Upton who married Joseph M. Thornburgh, my g.g.g.grand-father. I have loads of Thornburgh information but nothing of substance for Nancy. I am new to findagrave and am not sure of proper protocol for public vs. private messages. Thank you in advance for your response. Darrell

Hi Paula,

I have linked him to his parents. Let me know if you want any of the family transferred to you. I think there are about 14 that I can transfer if you want. Thanks for the info and have a great day!

P.S.: I love your quilts, very beautiful!

You're welcome Paula! Isn't it great to find cousins who have been to one of the cemeteries and took photos where we couldn't get one. I just stumbled upon a 5th Cuz Doug A. Moore who was fortunate enough to travel and take some great cemetery and gravestone photos. Connie

Capt. John Babcock
Regarding your posted photo, I don't think it is him. He lived in the 1600s and he is not wearing clothes they wore in the 1600s or even 1700s. He is wearing long pants, which weren't worn until the 1800s. Maybe it is a different Capt. John Babcock. Please check your source.
