Bio and Links
Bio Photo I grew up in Midland Park, New Jersey, fifth of seven children. I am 3/4 Dutch and 1/4 English. I have been working on my ancestry recently and have discovered that I am related to many people who are buried at Valleau Cemetery in Ridgewood as well as George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. For my English side, I have been able to find some graves at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Paterson, including one great-great-great-grandmother who provides a connection to some very old New England families. It has been an adventure!

My interests are bicycling (through cemeteries, of course!), walking, ancestry, knitting and I am also a FindAGrave photo volunteer. I live in the northern part of Passaic County and am within driving distance of many cemeteries in both Bergen and Passaic counties in New Jersey as well as those in Orange and Rockland counties in New York state.

I hope you all enjoy the memorials I've created and if any of these people are related to you, please don't hesitate to ask me to transfer them to you. I've also provided links wherever possible to spouses and/or other family members.

Regarding photos -- Photos posted to memorials on Find A Grave are copyrighted by the member who submitted the photos. Lifting the photo to use elsewhere would be a violation of copyright. You must obtain written permission from the member to use any photo for your own use. In general if you did not take the photo yourself, you do not hold the copyright to the photo.

...I only ask that you give me credit for my work. If you want to attach the memorial to your family tree on Ancestry, FindAGrave is listed as a source under the birth, marriage, death section. You may have to look for it, but if it's on this website, then within a short time after adding it, it will be on Ancestry, too. If you must put the photo on your tree, please add, "Photo compliments of VickiO of FindAGrave", with a link to this page.

Names I'm researching: Spencer, Junta/Junte, Kornet, Hazen/Haze, Milnes, van der Heide, Leusink, Mulder, Fairbanks, Opgelder, van Loo, Beijman/Byman, Magre, van de Werfhorst, Colburn, Sawyer, Gates, van Puttenstein, Damme, aan't Goor and more!

Also researching the following names for my fiance: Campbell, Wandelt, Collins, Zoebel, Woods, Alexander, Tollan, Casey, Anglin, Richardson, Parliman, Crispell, Van Keuren, Lewis...

4/1/2013 Yay! I found out where the Milnes/Zeitlinger families are buried at Laurel Grove! No headstone -- of course -- but I know where they are.

I found my Cornelius Valkenburg alive in 1940 Census so this is not my family member. Thanks for your contributions to F.A.G.

Thank you for informing mr ethat I spelled Charles Baird last name wrong. You think I would know how to spell my own last name.
