Bio Photo A HUGE thank you to everyone leaving lovely tokens on my loved ones' memorial pages. I thank FAG too just for giving us all the opportunity to honor those who have left us.

In your busy day, please take a second and read some of the poignant stories behind my newest additions. You may cry a little (especially about the Kraus Family Massacre)--and hopefully leave a token if you feel like it. These wonderful people have been forgotten long, long ago. Can you help remember them?

Here's little Linda Kraus - a victim of her dad's violent rampage in New Haven in 1959. Taken too soon with her two brothers and her aunt.

Another victim of domestic violence in the
1950's beautiful Margaret Evans:

Recently I have been adding many pages for forgotten family and friends who met very tragic ends---you can find them at my virtual cemetery or at my memorials.
I identify as a New England gal through and through, even though I pioneered here to California many sunsets ago. I grew up with beautiful East Rock right outside my window at 239 Everit Street in New Haven CT and miss it everyday.

The past is where my heart is and I discovered the infinite joys of family research and history when I was very young. A trained medieval historian and art historian, I planted my roots deep in scholarly research also and methodology at NYU and Columbia University.

I believe in the old adage that harkens to find truth in everything. Of course, all my male family ancestors went to Yale where I always wanted to go but could not because I was a girl!! Needless to say, my ancestral background has had a profound influence on me. Currently I am writing short articles about Waterbury CT and my famous and infamous cousins Aaron Burr, Matthias and Aaron Ogden!

Email with questions anytime, especially as more grave sites before 1000AD are discovered.

RE: Sir Bubba
Thanks for the reply. Today is his Angel Day and twice I have
placed a token of a small child. I will go back to his memorial
and delete those two and replace with correct tokens. So
very sorry! Hugs!

RE: Thank you
Hello Nan - could you clarify something for me? Is Sir Bubba
Boldt Vicknair a pet or a person? I am wondering so in the
future I can place the correct kind of token/remembrance.
Hugs, Jean Ann

RE: New Haven EWM photo
You're welcome - glad I could find it for you. We've had a lot of snow since then so I won't be taking more pictures for a while. Hope you are not in the drought area of CA - sounds like it's bad there.
