...and I'll be getting out there to fill in missing pics from his section now that it's cooler.

RE: Charles Motl
Carey Hand funeral records are available from 1894-1952 at

There are two types of documents. Undertaker memoranda and Funeral Registers. Funeral registers began about 1920, so after that date, each person should have two documents. The Funeral Register contains the most information.

Some of the digitized records can be searched by name - up until about 1942. After that, you have to search by death date.

The entire digitized collection is confusing and many names have been transcribed incorrectly.

If I can help you find someone, please let me know. I know all the quirks of the collection.

But it is only burials and cremations by Carey Hand. They were donated to the UCF Library and they've scanned them.

RE: Picture Request
I did attach the grave location to the note for Maple Grove Cemetery. Catherine Brenner & Charles Brucker are in Plot: Section F, Lot 415, Unit A, Grave 4
Thank you

Clyde Shirey
Thank you so much for taking a picture of Clyde Shirey's stone. It means so much to me. He didn't really leave anyone behind to remember him. I just found him while researching the family history. So thank you very, very much.

Sherman Horton
Dear Vincent,

Thank you so much for photographing my great uncle, Sherman Horton's gravesite for us. I had given up hope that my request was going to be fulfilled.

If you do not mind me asking, are you French or American? I am just curious. Do you live in the area or are you visiting. No matter, thank you again for your kindness.

Thank You
I would like to thank you for the picture of Lesker Franklin Leake's headstone. You did a great job! Retired on a fixed income in the Philippines I know I could never get over there to take the picture myself. I really appreciate your sacrifice and hard work in getting this picture for me!

John Adams, Georgia
I think this is the John Adams from
Tifton, Ga, USA...still hoping to prove it! Thank you so much for adding the photo to his page.
There is NO WAY I could have done it otherwise!
