RE: Lester Mars Verley
Hi Beverly,
Was so nice to hear from someone who was close with that part of my family.
Lester Mars Verley, Jr. is my 2nd cousin. He was born 12 May 1944 and died Aug 1994 in Las Vegas, Nevada. His mothers name was Mary Mildred (Brown).
Jr. had a sister Mildred "Millie" Joanne b. 4 Nov 1942 and a brother William Harry b. 03 Oct 1946. Also, an older sister Donna J Verley b. 21 Sep 1937 d. 12 Apr 2007 in Lakewood, CA. from Jr's dads first marriage to Gladys Wardene Smith.
Jr. married but don't know her first name, only that her last name was Boyd. They had 3 children, 2 daughters (names not known), and a son named Mark. They are all living that I know of.
Jr's dad (Lester Mars) d. 11 May 1996 in Inglewood, CA.
I would love to know if Jr. ever talked about his grandfather or if he ever knew him, even better if he was ever in contact with him. His grandfathers name was Andrew Mars Verley but at some time he went by William M. Bell. Did he ever talk about family of his dads side? Curious to know just how much he knew about that side of our family. Had you ever met any of his uncle's or grandfather (Andrew Mars)?
Hope to hear from you soon.

RE: Eddie Cochran
Yes, it was special. I still remember where I sat. It was about 7 rows from the front. He wore blue jeans, and a green plaid short sleeve shirt. It's funny how somethings you can remember, even though it was so long. Thanks for answering.

Eddie Cochran
Did you ever see Eddie in person? I did when I was 13 at a Rock n Roll show in 1958 in New York City.
