Bethel Cemetery
Hello Ryan:

I see that you have spent some time building up Bethel Cemetery. Link provided for reference:

I have a good suspicion that my wife's 2nd great grandmother (Margaretta Rainey) and step-grandfather (William Rainey) were buried at Bethel Cemetery in the 1920's and 1930's.

Curious... what was your source when you built the cemetery? Data base, or did you take an on-site inventory?

I appreciate that you spent the time to build this one up so well. I found a cemetery in TN last year and got to start a brand new online memorial with several folks that were never recorded. Had a lot of fun...

Thank you for your time,
Aaron in Texas

I will be happy to add any good information that you have to the 3 memorials that I have created that are in the Bethel Cemetery that you are working on.

Just click on the edit tab in the upper right of the memorial and add the info.

Keep up the good work.

Hi Ryan,

Everyone should have their Dad's record. :-) By chance .... On Friday I retired from Westminster Village. I had only been there 4 years and didn't know your Dad. I also have a son named Ryan. :-)

Anyway ... my Dad was also a veteran an here is his record just in case you need any ideas for your Dad's record:

Hi, I see you did a lot of work in the Bethel Cemetery in New Castle, DE. Thanks for that!
I was wondering about how you came upon the info provided in the memorials...What I mean is, was it from a cemetery transcription, or did you see the stones themselves?
Reason I ask is because someone was searching for Adam Grubb. I went there this morning, and after searching 3x could not find a marker with that name.
Thanks for any help!

RE: Mackey family
Anytime you want to request a change to a memorial, click on the edit button in the top right corner of the memorial. It's a great way - since it includes a link to the memorial in question and sends an email to the person maintaining the memorial.
PS. Change requested has been made for John Mackey's memorial. Beth

RE: Mackey family
Ryan, I haven't done any extensive research on the Mackey family in Maryland. I have a collateral line in Missouri, but haven't tried to trace it back. Good luck. Beth

Thank you so much for adding the other two photographs. It is such a unique tombstone that I wanted to show it on the memorial. ~ Kathy

Thank you so much for taking the time to go to the cemetery to photograph this tombstone. I am really surprised at how well it has held up! Thanks again. Kathy
