Thanks for the pictures!

Happy to have the record in the hands of a loving family member. 4yrs ago on a random Google search I put in my long, lost uncle's name and up popped a link to the Findagrave website, with not only his name but a photo of his tombstone and I have been hooked on Findagrave ever since.

Have found a wonderful place for all the records I have accumulated during the past 50-60 yrs of research and sometimes it helps others, which is why I do it.

Bought the book on Oak Grove 2 yrs ago on a trip to Wood County researching my husband's family and just now got around to adding the info to Findagrave this year.

So happy to have helped you find your relative and I know the joy because finding Uncle Edwin allowed me to reunite him with his family, whether he wanted it or not, since he had left family, friends and Indiana back in 1947 never to be heard of again until I found him on the Findagrave website.

Happy Hunting

RE: Sarah Alcorn
How exciting! Do you know if your Mary Alcorn married John B Parsons who was born in Sturgeon, Jackson, Kentucky? Her name was Mary Jane and the census had Mary A. If so, we would be related. I live in Texas and Mary Jane Alcorn was my Great Grandmother. They married in Kentucky and moved to Texas in late 1800's. Her daughter was Minnie Lee Parson(my grandmother). I have not been to Kentucky, but we are planning a trip to Georgia this summer and I would like to track some of my ancestors along the way.

Sarah Alcorn
I am researching my family ancestry and I feel that M D and Sarah Alcorn could possibly be my great-great grandparents. What is your connection if there is one? If you are related, my great grandmother was Mary Jane Alcorn who died in Fannin County, TX in 1939. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
