Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been interested in Genealogy since about 1997 but don't spend as much time as I want to on research. My ancestors are entirely Dutch and all immigrated within 50 years of each other which actually makes everything very straight forward. My husband's family, on the other hand, is totally mixed and a lot more challenging.

I am more than willing to transfer a memorial I created to a family member so please just use the edit tab on the memorial page to request the transfer. Do the same for additions or corrections since I can easily find the right page. Thank you!

Emma Vorce
I added Emma because I was told that was her name but on the death certificate it says Eunice. I do not know if she liked Emma better or what the deal is. If you can help it would be appreciated. Jan

Emma Vorce
I added the name of Emma as the mother of Roy Vorce 83157187 but wonder. On the death certificate they have her name as Eunice. But then I do know they make mistakes since it is a very upsetting time. Thanks Jan

Completed your request to connect Edwin & Susie Vorce but have a question. I assume from Susies name that she remarried but you do not have the 2nd husband listed on her site? Jan

I think so, I have some pics that have no names. Im going to get together with relatives that will know soon. Ive been trying to get ahold of one of my grandmothers pics of Koert's family. Grandma used to tell me they had a traveling store they used to sell things out of. It was a big wagon hauled by horses. Koert, Adrieanna, Cora and Jennie moved to CA because they did not like Michigan weather. Obbie stayed behind to continue the family business, Tiena married and stayed behind also. Ill send you those pics later today, maybe you will know who is who:)

Multiple Requests
All requests are completed. Again, I was working from a list. My maiden name is Dutch so I did question some of the spellings, but did not want to change without some proof. And, the name spelling on the list could have been correct at the time,or perhaps they could not read writing on the documents. I have had situations where the relatives actually spelled the names wrong, but however they want them is what matters. It can make it harder for those of us trying to find the names. Like the one you had ending in 'house', and I had it from the list as 'huis.' You may know that 'huis' means house.

It's hard to know what to do to help searchers sometimes.
