I am an intelligence analyst by training but found that intel analysis and genealogy are very similar- they both involve getting to some hidden truth.
I began researching my Andrews ancestors in 1975. It took a few years but I traced them back to William Andrews, a founder and first schoolmaster of Hartford, CT.
I have done several genealogies for families including Parsons/Lattimer (Virginia/ Pennsylvania), Tate (North/South Carolina) and Contreras/Zubiate (Texas). I have started my own business called "Southern Roots" and also lecture locally in Cumming, Georgia on "Genealogy 101." | |

 | Charlie R. Johnson I'm not related to this set of Johnson's. I checked on friends of cemeteries in Washington County with no luck. | | | Carla Hass
 | RE: Alexander Sample - wrong cemetery Hi Wayne -
Yes, I photographed both plus headstones for two children (not easy to read). I'll see what I can make of them when I upload the photos.

 | Alexander Sample - wrong cemetery Hi Wayne -
I got a photo of Alexander Sample's headstone this morning. He is in the Old Pine Grove Mills Cemetery - it has a separate listing in Find a Grave. If you move him to that cemetery, I'll post the photos.

Thanks.

 | Very Interesting I looked carefully at the photo and the death date sure is a match. Hmmm....maybe it is for the same person and one is a cenotaph? The one I posted also had a birth date and I noticed I didn't add anything in notes about a military marker. I'll have to look for the photo and add it. Let me know if you find out anything and I'll look for some additional too. :) | | | Northern Neighbors
 | Irish Yes, the dates for Benj. are 3.4.1822-10.13.1894 and Emeline 1.9.1824-3.11.1874! Would you like to maintain them?(they are included in a spreadsheet submission that should appear soon) | | | Northern Neighbors
 | Irish I have located another Irish plot at Yantic and creating memorials. Does Benj. and wife Emeline ring a bell? :) | | | | [View all messages...] |
