|C. T. Lewis||RE: York family|
You asked whether I had Yorks in Oglethorpe county, GA around 1834.
Some of my data is sketchy, but I show Yorks in the Lincoln and Columbia county areas of GA in the late 1700s and the early 1800s. Those areas are close to Oglethorpe county. However, I don't show any of my Yorks in Oglethorpe county itself.
By the 1820s my Yorks were in Muscogee and Talbot counties and in Meriwether county about 1848-1908.
Hope that someway helps.

I see that you are also a fan of Find A Grave. You can check out my bio and virtual cemeteries. See you in mid-April.
I have noticed that you are interested in this family. I have traced them but found out little info. I am descendant of Hiram Young born Nc and died in Mo. after 1860 census.Would love any info or correspondence about them. Thanks for your time.

|Beatrice Bennett||W.W. Whitehead Family|
Hi Reverly. I saw where you listed the W.W. Whitehead Family Cemetery, Montgomery Co.,Ms. on Find A Grave.
I just finished listing Whitehead Family Cemetery, Carroll Co., Ms. It's only seven graves. Family of Edmunds Grey Whitehead, Sr.
I read that William W. was son of Rev. William and brother of Edmunds Grey. If they are ancestors of yours, would you like me to transfer ownership of their memorails to you?
Can you tell me for sure if Edmunds Grey Whitehead,Jr. was married to Cornelia Zollecoffer Whitehead?
