Hi there, I'm looking for Pickrells in Collin County, TX pre-1880. It looks like nothing is known about this Mary Pickrell, memorial # 72419641.
Do you know anything about the cemetery itself? Were there any burials there before it was officially established in 1891? All the best,

Mr. Carman, Thank you for your help. I changed the date of death on Donna Jackson's memorial. I have transferred the memorial to you since you are taking care of the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. I will let you add the plot number. Your work is appreciated.

His first name was James, he was born in Kingsport, Hawkins, TN, and died in Collins County, TX.
Please link him to his wife, Hattie Dora (Whitsell) Jones # 72007144.

My grandfather was Fullen H. Jessee and probably died in Collin, County, Texas. Is this listing from the cemetery record of burials?
The initials match, but that's not much to go on. He would have had sons in the area, so it's weird that he would have no headstone. I'm going to search further for his wife, Margaret Jessee.
Thanks for any info you can provide.

|M. L.||RE: Find A Grave Entries|
I created the original memorial (in 2005) and notated that her obituary says her maiden name was Cox and her married name was Mills. The duplicate was created in 2007 and shows her name as "Christie D. Cox Cox Mills". Makes it harder to search for. I don't have any compunction against deleting my entries, but don't see that the duplicate is more accurate than mine. The sister left flowers at my memorial and didn't mention any problem with the name. Relatives usually point out errors, if there are any. The hyphen is just the families' way of showing her maiden name on the stone, and isn't included in the duplicate nor the obituary. So, it would seem that the duplicate is in error and should be deleted. If this message seems a bit terse, it is not my intention. Just makling a case for accuracy. I would suggest that that the Find A Grave gods be asked to delete the duplicate, whose creator won't respond to your messages. Lemme know ifd you still disagree. Have a great day!
