John Kennedy
here is a message from Russ who is on the cemetery board for that cemetery.

"Mike, I am on the Church's cemetery committee and can tell you that our records show that John Kennedy is buried in plot 69C; without a marker. As a point of reference, Frederick Kennedy is in plot 69E

I hope you find this helpful. Russ"

no marker unfortunately but at least you know he is indeed there.

message from the funeral home:

I was able to locate the arrangement sheet for John William Kennedy, DOD 4/15-1957. He had a service at Gainesville UMC on Wednesday 4/17-1957 and was buried in the church cemetery as you had indicated. Unfortunately, we do not have anything in our records to indicate where he was buried in the cemetery.

my only suggestion is to contact the church and see if they keep cemetery records

I went to the cemetery today but could not find a gravestone with his name on it. I found his son Frederick's marker. I put in a request to the Moser funeral home to see if they have any records on the location. There seems to be a lot of unmarked graves there. You might try and contact the church to see if they have burial records.

Looks like inscription says 40y 9m 21d. I did not find Martha, but found a couple of other Sieberts.

RE: Briar Creek Cemetery
HI,
I am replying to your message about the Smith's in the Briar Creek Cemetery, you were asking me about.
The only way their memorials will be posted on Find A Grave, is if a member of Find A Grave, such as yourself, makes them a memorial on the webiste.
It will be from those memorial pages that you can do a photo request for their headstone pictures.

I no longer volunteer to do photo requests so far away from me since the price of gas went up.
That particular cemetery is about 120 mile round trip for me. I am sure that there are volunteers closer to the Bowie area who do volunteer photo requests through Find A Grave.

Have a safe and happy 4th Of July.
