I am originally from Prince George's County MD. Surnames Brensinger, married name Huntt. Doing research on Brensinger; Huntt; Simpson; Tinsley; Breeden; Muck or Mauck. Hi,
Wilhelmina(Minnie or Mina) Greenwalt Hohman(n)was Frank B. Hohman's mother. When I started genealogy on the Greenwalt Family, I discovered that his father was John Hohmann who died on 11 July 1899, not William Hohmann. His mother Wilhelmina and Frank B. and his five siblings lived next to William and his wife Maggie and their daughter Elsie in the Census of 1900. I was wondering if William who was an Uncle to Frank became a father figure to him.
Wilhelmina was listed has a Widow on this Census.
I have a copy of the census if you want a copy.
Frank B. Hohman(n) had the following siblings:
Margaret A Hohmann(1877-1941) married Charles Edward Shook(1890-1948). She is buried at Holy Family Cemetery.
Joseph Basil Hohmann(1881-1947) married Annie A. Schemm and they are buried at Mt.Olive Cemetery in Randallstown.
Amelia G. Hohmann(1883-?) married William Michael McAllister in 1907. He is buried at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery. I don't know when she passed away and where she is buried.
Mary C. Hohmann (1886-?) Do not have any further information on her.
Katherine Rose Hohmann (1894-1942) married John Frederick Schaeffer in 1914. They are buried at Loudon Park Cemetery.
I have a copy of the Memorial for John Hohmann that Minnie Hohmann and his duaghter Mrs. Margaret Shook did on July 11, 1919 in the Pro Quest Historic Baltimore Sun Papers (1837-1986)for him.
I use to live in East Baltimore and my parents are buried along with my relatives at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery. We use to attend St. James the Less Church on Aisquith and Eager Streets.

I don't know if this is the same William M. McAllister or not. The one I have is married to a Amelia G. Hohmann. Their marriage license was issued on June 19, 1907. I know that he is buried at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery. I have been unable to find her death record. I know that she died before 1955 per his obituary in ProQuest Historic Baltimore, The Sun Papers (1837-1986). I see that you have William M. McAllister at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery buried with his parents. He died on Oct. 4, 1955. He was married to an Amelia Gertrude Hohman. They were issued a marriage license in Towson on June 19, 1907. Per his obituary, she died before he did. I do not know where she is buried. She was from Randallstown, Maryland. Her brother Frank M.
