Roger I have some information you might want to add to the grave of Hulda Buchanan, I have that she married Thomas Winfied Buchanan Dec 22, 1881 and that her middled name was Missouri and her father was Simeon Green. Born 1867 died 1902 but I believe that is on the headstone. I see that the headstone no long can be read because of the age and weather. Is there anyway that this information can be reingraved in the rock without distruction to the rock. Thank you, Virginia Buchanan-Bean

re: Josephus Lashley - wrong pictures on grave
Thank you for the help in adding pictures. However, you have posted pictures of the son's grave on that of his father, # 35623325.
Only you can remove these photos. It would be appreciated if you would do so.

Re: William Green Buchanan/ Memorial# 40601251
Dear RLC,

I am not sure who this William is or if the information provided was not given correctly. William born to:

William John Buchanan (1765 - 1839)/# 51971179
Elizabeth Jones Buchanan (1774 - 1861)/ # 51971239

He was born William Gentry Greenberry Buchanan, he was my 4th Great- Grandfather and the last of 16 children born to William John and Elizabeth Jones Greene. His correct listing is Find A Grave Memorial# 97489924. I have the names of his other 15 siblings burial information if you would like it.

Thanks.

RE: Relation to Lemuel Garrett
I found some interesting information on ancestry.com regarding Lemuel Garrett. Elaine Gibson posted a story on Martha Cash and her civil war pension for Lemuel's service. When she applied for the pension, she indicated Lemuel disappeared and never returned home. I will e-mail the story to you as a pdf file. I'll use my lifoman472@hotmail.com account.

Sincerely, Rich Garrett

RE: Relation to Lemuel Garrett
I was going to go to Laurens' Warrior Creek Cemetery last year but didn't make it. My wife and I are planning a trip there next year, she has relatives outside Atlanta. When I go, I'll make sure to share my Garrett pictures with you.

Sincerely, Rich Garrett

Relation to Lemuel Garrett

Salley Mauldin (1763 - 1825)
Mother of Isaac

William T. Garrett (1794 - 1847) Ny GGGreat Grandfather
Son of Salley

John Wright Garrett (1837 - 1919) My GGreat Grandfather
Son of William T.

William Henry Garrett (1861 - 1927) My Great Grandfather
Son of John Wright

John William Garrett (1886 - 1967) My Grandfather
Son of William Henry

Joseph William Garrett (1925 - 1987) My Father
Son of John William
Richard William Garrett

I got interested in Lemuel when I determined he was a prisoner at Point Lookout Md., located near my home in Maryland. Years ago I took Boy Scout trips to the park but didn't pay much attention to the Civil War sites there. Now that I am retired I spend a lot of time researching my family.

I tried to find the prison camp, but it is underwater today.

Let me know if I can help with any of my Garrett line. If your on ancestry.com I could invite you as a guest to my tree.
