I am researching the surnames of Baker, Brown ,& Butts. Mainly now looking for a James Madison Butts who was my g-g-father. He seems to have vanished after 1880. He was in Wood Co, Texas in 1880. Supposedly died abt 1899 in Bryan Co, Ok.
I was raised in Ranger, Tx. Moved there in 1946. Presently reside in Celina, Tx.

Noble Cemetery
Jay, I have been to this cemetery and the property owner was very accommodating. In fact, she said they are required by law to allow visitors. If you would like more information just let me know.

RE: Marietta Comer
Her son is buried there (Find A Grave Memorial# 13436949). As you can see, his headstone is in pieces.

Jay, Have transferred your g-g gf, James Madison Butts to you. The Butts family had a connection to my Hunt family, VA and GA. No relationship to my knowledge here. "GG"

I didn't find a stone for him. I made a memorial from information in the cemetery records. I felt every one should be remembered. I have had a few place a stone after I made the memorials.

DNA blood cousin
I could not get by your spam filter. The text image would not show and the audio would not play. I tried but Internet explorer 8 and Google Chrome and neither worked.

Here is the message.
I believe I am DNA connected to this line.

I have one blood cousin that has tested from this line and we match DNA.

I have been working on documenting this line since it may help me find a connection back to our 15 other DNA cousins who believe we connect at Maurice Morris Baker 1640 in Maryland.

Some ancestry people show this line going to a different halotype so I think they might be wrong since the cousin of this line is the same as I am. Do you know of anyone in this line that has tested their DNA.

The cousin I am working on connects like this.
Jacob Rushing Baker (father of your Jacob)
Elisha Washington Baker (brother of your Jacob)
Austen D Baker
Carl Edward Edward

Doris June Butts
Annie, her mother, was my step great grandmother. Plenny Virgil, her husband and father of Doris, was my great grandfather, and the father of my grannie, Maude Womack Cates.

I met with a distant cousin several years ago searching for answers about some of my relatives. He liked Annie and one thing that amused me when he told me of Annie was that she dipped stuff, made me laugh. She was apparently quite an entertaining lady.
