|rlz111||RE: Cemetry clean up|
Berry Tally was my GGgrandfather on my mother's side. My mother's maiden name was Linda Lou Strong. Her mother was Leitha Talley. Thomas Talley was Leitha's father. And if memory serves me correctly?, Margaret? (Berry's last wife) was Thomas's mother.
So I figure you and I are 4th half-cousins???
The pictures of the family cemetery that I seen on the website triggered so many memories.
Thank You so much for the email. It is wonderful to see and read that others in the extended family have an interest with how the family multiplied and where we all fit in within.
Sure would be interesting to have a reunion in Chattanooga for all the decendants of Berry Talley. It would probably require a football stadium to hold everyone!
And finally, I would like to think that I know one of the newest members of the family? I have a 2 month old granddaughter, I am so grateful for.
Take care, and Thank God for our Wonderful heritage.

I live in Pennsylvania.
Berry Talley was my great great grandfather on my mother’s side.
Signed on find-a-grave and seen the “clean up” pictures from April 2014.
During the 1960’s thru the early 1970’s, my father, my brother, and I would go to the cemetery 1 time each summer to “clean up”.
We would cut down low hanging branches. Cut grass and cleaned up the leaves that were laying on the grounds.
Do not get to Chattanooga much anymore, but remember preciously, about a time gone by.
Thank you for the memories.
