Bio and Links
Bio Photo Dear People, if you want a transfer could you PLEASE use the EDIT tab at the top right of the individual's memorial? It sure makes it easier. I am very generous about transferring, no matter how much research I have done. Thanks!

My father's side is full of Andersons; his mother's side, full of Locke's and Crane's - those people are of primary interest to me at this time.
I am happy to help take photos or do any research in my immediate area of Tacoma, Pierce County, Washington or in other areas of Washington state. It gives me an excuse to get out of doors.
I am happy to transfer people I have added, as long as they are not in my immediate family.
If you haven't read "Our Town" or it's been years since you read it, please read it again. It makes www.findagrave.com much more meaningful.

Krause family plot
I've deleted my Frank. As for the photo, since you took it, why not just right click on the photo, then click 'save as', name it, then load it on the others I've posted?

Ver Young ???
I believe I found him and his family on the census - -

Edgar Young
Jessie M Young
Burr E Young
Erma M Young

The father is a Shingle Packer... too much of a coincidence!!

Burr rather than Ver (or Vern).

Continuing to check...

Wow - that's quite a find... leave the death certificate there - - nearly always clues on each document...

The Gig Harbor Cemetery is wonderful - I sure wish he had a tombstone....

Thanks, Kathy

Thanks for the Duplicate notice. It is always so hard to cross reference entries when the originals have different spellings. I added the headstone photo and sent a message to the manager of the other one. I appreciate all your work! Rosalie

RE: Koch in OTC
Hi Alice - that's my middle name, named after both my grandmas - Anna Elisabeth "Annlis" = Alice.

All my grandparents came from Kolb, Russia, and it was not a healthy place to live, and traveling in "steerage" across the Atlantic was rough, from all accounts I have heard. I grew up in the German neighborhood in Tacoma; I knew many of the people I have researched, and they have a special place in my heart. My Grandma Miller was the only child, out of 5 born, that lived; she had eight children, only two lived - my mother and her older brother who was a "special needs" child. Two died in Russia, two in Nebraska, and two in Tacoma. Life was not easy, but it was much better than the tyranny in Russia.

I have a cousin in Almira [4th cousin] who has done extensive research for AHSGR, and I have translated birth, death, marriage, and military records for her that she has procured from the Volgograd Archives. Many of the documents have been destroyed by the Russians or lost because of disasters. I add what I know, no guesswork, and I do it for my ancestors and their families. This is special to me - a labor of love.

Thank you for caring. Many people put memorials in Find A Grave just to put up numbers of memorials. It's nice to meet some who truly cares...Judi

For catching the dupes and sending corrections. I thought I had snagged all my accidental dupes... but you got a sharper eye! So thank you!!

Stephen Callvert
Thanks for letting me know the right spelling of his last name. I did a little more research on him and it appears that Callvert is the correct spelling.

The reason I researched him in the first place is because his mother is said to be a cousin of Abraham Lincoln in her obit. I am not really sure if she is in the Tacoma Cemetery, so please keep an eye out for her.
