I started working on genealogy when my mother, maternal grandfather and grandmother in-law died the same year. It dawned on me that I didn't know any thing about my family and now had no one to ask. I am so fortunate that the volunteers at Find-a-grave are so willing to share the information in their areas and some day hope to be one of them.

I was born and raised in Washington where I raised my two children and my 4 grandchildren were reared. With this hobby I have traveled 47 states. I find my dead relatives to be so much more interesting than my live ones were. I don't take responsibility for anything my ancestors did in their time but have gotten a great many laughs from their escapades.

May they rest in peace.

RE: Lloyd Garriso Averill
I didn't realize that there were two memorials for
him. Mine is #84198780 in Evergreen Cemetery and I am going to let that one stay. As his obituary states, that is where he is buried and that is where I took the picture of the headstone. The other memorial is not mine to delete.

Jackie Kittle 127178660
James is not the husband of Jackie, one of his brother's married Jackie and that brother is still living and James was not married (that is why his marker says "Beloved Son and Brother" but does not say husband).

There may have been some confusion because when I made the memorials for her in-laws, Wayne and Hilda Kittle, I placed Jackie's name as a daughter-in-law and placed their names in the memorial for Jackie (but saying her husband was left behind) but maybe since in the memorials for the in-laws James and Jackie were both named individually but Jackie's husband's specific name was not you or somebody else got the idea that James and Jackie had married; I have now added a note into the in-laws memorials with Jackie's name that points out that Jackie's husband was still living as of when his parents died and I already had in her memorial that he was "left behind".

I hope this clears things up for you.

Is she your relative? If so go to edit button on her memorial and request transfer.
Thanks

Thanks for your note
Hi:

Thanks for getting in touch..I have a tree on Ancestry.com..but to be honest, I never knew this relative's name..so anything I find out, will be through research on Ancestry. I have no photos, papers etc.

I am new to all this and I am stuck on my GGF, a direct descendant only a few people back. If you're on Ancestry, please check out Brown Family tree.

It is lovely to "meet" you and thanks again for getting in touch.

All the very best to you. Cris Brown

Dessie Goddard
Hi! I received your note. The Dessie Goddard who married John Wesley Smith is the daughter of John Goddard and Amanda Cozart. She was born 1893 and died 1973. Not your Dessie Goddard Sickles. If I can help you any other way, just let me know. Take care.

RE: Allan Fred Fuhr
I can put in a photo request for you. I'm not sure when I'll be out there again. I just checked and there is a photo online right now you can view of his headstone. It's on the Billiongraves website listed as Allan F. Ruhr. If you're related, I'd be happy to transfer Allan's memorial to you.
