RE: Pte Jefferies Jones

I removed the photo. 3 weeks ago there were 10 or 12 requests from Beersheva. I went once, and only a few photos were readable. I went yesterday and another 3 were readable. I will return to Beersheva, probably in October or November depending on the weather. If you send me an address, I will send you all the photos I have for Jones (I may have the "other" Jones from last week, and Webster. I put the photos in Dropbox, but you do not need to be a member - you get a link and can look and download.

James Maxwell
Hi Karen,I am not a relative of James, nor am I an author.I've always loved football and a few months ago there was a programme on TV about Walter Tull.In the early 1900's he was one of the first black footballers to play in England, his clubs were Spurs and Northampton. At the outbreak of world war one,he joined the army and became the first black British Officer. He was killed in action in 1918,his name is on the Arras Memorial in France.I looked up his name on the internet and found a website on football and the first world war, that is where I found the name James Maxwell. There is a website where you can search for players who have played in the Football League since costs 5 for one month or 14.99 for a year's membership.I would be very interested to have any information you have on James and Bud.I assume Bud has passed on,are you going to put a memorial page for him on Findagrave?
