RE: photo of Mary Winn
You're very welcome! There was another stone next to hers that is broken and unreadable and it looks like it might be a childs stone. It might be someone related to her or it might not, it's just too damaged.

I was visiting the area and just stopped by the cemetery to grab a few photos so I was very random in my picture taking. I was looking for one of my family members but never found him. It was very hot and humid that day so I kinda hurried myself along :)

I don't manage the memorial so I can't add extra info but you can use the edit tab at the top right corner of Mary's memorial page to send a suggest a correction message to the manager with the info and they could add it for you.

Monument
Hi Terri,
I love the monument you got for your husbands grandfather. Glad everything turned out fine. You should have let me know you were in town. We would have met your husband and you for a Beer:)

Take Care

RE: Daniel Hill
Hey cousin Terri! Thats good to hear. I remember seeing the "Griffin" name in the familytree before. My line to Daniel Hill is: Daniel had a son named Abraham. Abraham had a son named John Cannon Hill, who had a daughter named Mary Jane Hill. She married Thomas L. Mulder. They had a son, Henry Lee Mulder. Henry Lee Mulder is my maternal great-grandfather. So Daniel Hill would be my 5x greatgrandfather. Havent been able to find out what happened to John Cannon Hill. The Civil War broke out & his wife remarried in 1864. If you ever stumble across anything about him i would much appreciate anything you find. I will get you those pics on my next trip to Rose Hill. Thank you,Troy

RE: Daniel Hill
Hey Terri! Glad to help. I can get more photos of the markers in Rose Hill Cemetery. They are my ancestors. Most of the Hills' original markers are made of a sandstone or river rock. The are hard to photograph but u can make out some of the lettering in person as they are very weather worn. The photo i posted for you is one i had taken last year. Im planning to make another trip there again when the weather permits. & would be happy to get more for you.-Troy
