Thanks Donna for the birthdate for Mary Harton. If's neat that we are "cousins" in this McKnight/Harton/Price family.

Jackson, TN - I am the great-granddaughter of D.V. and Sarah Alexander. Their daughter, Odis Alexander Hendrix, is buried in the same cemetery along with my brother, Robert Edward Ross, Jr.
I thought you might like to add the information to the memorials. Thank you, Sandra Ross-O'Connor, Houston, TX firstname.lastname@example.org
D.V. and Sarah had (eight children, seven girls, one boy (Vincent). I believe Viola Alexander Webster (their daughter) is buried at Liberty Grove along with her husband Louis "Louie" Webster and I think he preceeded her in death.
There maybe another of their daughter's buried there her name was Finis Alexander Williams.
Vincent is probably buried in Miami, Florida as that was his last known address to me back in the 70's. He had been a nationaly known Christian vocalist and was a minister of the Penecostal faith at the time of his death.
Thank you for adding my family's name to the memorials. You were kind to do so.

Donna, I'm sorry that I accepted your "request to be friends" on Facebook and haven't gotten back to you. This is the busiest time at the genealogy Center for me. I teach lots of fall/winter classes and lectures in the communities here. I am so glad you got to go to Madison County and to the Malesus Church. Tanya Green has been so helpful for my PRICE research. My Nathanial Price was one of the original trustees of the church, along with the Harton's. I have connections to the Harton's through a marriage, but think my Price ancestors came with them to Madison County, via Williamson County and Warren County, NC. There seems to be several of your direct Harton's buried at the old Harton Cemetery. Did Tanya tell you she lived just a few blocks from that cemetery.
I would like very much to again compare our genealogies. Shirley Nance
|Jim Ottmer||Israel Camp Jr.|
Thank you for taking the photo of Israel Camp Jr. in Medina Cemetery. If you should return to that cemetery, would you be able to record exactly what is on the headstone. My old eyes cannot read much there plus the stone has lichens growing on it too. I would help confirm the death date for Israel and maybe his wife.
Thank you again!!!!

You are welcome. There were some other "Newsom" photo request at Liberty Grove, but the memorials had been deleted. I went ahead and made the memorial pages for them and added the pictures, if you would like to take a look at them. If any of these are yours, let me know and I will transfer them to you.
