Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been researching geneology For almost 40 years off and on. I have always loved exploring cemeteries. At first I collected Tombstone rubbings, now it's lots of photos of tombstones. besides being a part of history and Knowledge, some of them are just beautiful works of art. Maybe it's in my blood. My great grandfather and his father were undertakers in Jersey City and on another side of the family my great uncle was a well known cement statuary artist in Alabama.

H.H. Watkins
From my research this is Henry Harrison Watkins, brother of Aurelius Salle Watkins who is also buried in this section. I also have copies of Henry's war records that I can send you. He was wounded 9 Aug 1862 Battle of Cedar Run, Va.

Thank you for looking for her headstone. She might be the unknown by Jared C. Roundy but I do not know. I appreciate your help.

RE: Notley James Wortham
Hi, Cindy. No, I'm not related. I was taking photos of markers as a civil war researcher, and had so many photos from the Bosqueville Cemetery, that I just decided to go back, and take as many of the rest that I could. I love cemeteries! I like to think of them as a mixture of a park, and a library. My family thinks that I'm some kind of nut though. :)

Hi, Cindy. I'll make additions for you ASAP. These are in the Bosqueville Cemetery?
