Have been involved in genealogy for about 20 years. Just like a crossword puzzle only more fun. I love a good mystery. I run a 2 genealogy clubs at our local library and always find some new information from the members. Have loved cemeteries since I was a kid, premonition maybe??

Anna Kirchner
I'm looking at the 1891 Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Day Book. The entry for C-1553 has Anna Margaret Kirchner, 83 years, 8 months, 19 days of 114 Belmont Avenue, Newark, died on 9 April 1891. The plot in this record is St. James-27-5. I do not know the family or know if Anna was reburied at a later date in a different location. Owner of this plot is August Kirchner.

My suggestion is just to check your record of burial location and make the change if you feel that it is appropriate.

RE: Thanks
You are very welcome. I was visiting my parents
and photographed the requests that had Plot numbers listed. Glad I could help.

Charles Hollar
Linda K.--The person who requested the gravestone for Pineview was Willie Belle "Bill" Hollar. I see that there is a listing for that person's grave at Pineview. I strongly suspect that Charles will be buried with or alongside Willie Hollar's gravesite.

RE: Charles Hollar
Linda K--The body is not listed in an American military cemetery. I DID find where the family requested a military flat gravestone in Nov. 1948, to be used at Pineview Cem., Mt. Holly, NC. I have a copy of the form, if you have an e-mail address I can use to send it to you. So that's where he should be buried...

Without the location of the grave it is virtually impossible to find this grave. Please call the cemetery and get the location so I can get the photo for you.

RE: Adolph Kirchner
No, I am not a relative. The information may have come from another Find A Grave member or maybe from an OBIT.

RE: Gate of Heaven Request
No, I know because my parents are there. Wish I could say I could get the photo for you but I don't get up there very often. The site says if you contact the cemetery they will take a shot and mail it to you. Don't know if that's true, saw someone request that they asked several times with no luck. There were several volunteers that did Gate of Heaven, maybe they will be able to do yours. If I do get a chance to go, I will look if it has been fulfilled and if not look for the grave. This a large cemetery.

RE: Gaston Obits
Checked with my internet supplier. They advise it is corrected and try again, which I did, and it works fine.

RE: Gaston Obits
Have been unable to link to the Gaston Gazette for about 3 days. You might want to keep looking for a while. My internet supplier is trying to help me.
