My name is Glenda and I live in Mississauga, Ontario. I love cemeteries I love walking through them and I love the history of them. I personally feel that when you stop and read a headstone you are honouring the person that is buried there. So many are forgotten and not visited and its nice to know that even if I don't know very much about them except for what is written on their marker I cared enough to stop and spend those few moments saying hello.
I make memorials for people that I have loved or that were special to me in some way....

RE: Hurd family
Were really sorry to hear about your Mom, our sympathies to you, your Dad and family. Is there a way to get pictures to you without it going over the website?

RE: Hurd family
Thanks, so much for sending the information. The only thing info on the picture I have says, Great Grandpa sitting with a child dressed in white, that's Ula standing between her parents and Is it John sitting on Mrs Berry's lap and George and Frank standing behind Annie; could that be Laura, standing at the back in the white blouse, and the man standing next to your granddad is Garfield Berry? Ray's middle name is Garfield! Your granddad was Abe? Ray really liked Abe ... he said he was really neat.
We have all of Mary and Sam's photos, I went looking through them to see if it would help identify any of the people in your picture, I came across a tin photo, it says Mom 5 years old then the date 1866, the dates don't match Ray's maternal grandma, but it does match Annie's ... would you like me to send a picture of it?
Ray and I really appreciate your help,

Thanks, Maureen

Warr Abraham Hurd
Hi Glenda,
I came across the family picture of Warr Hurd and his family. Warr and Annie were my husband Ray's grandparents, their youngest child, Samuel Wilfred was my husband's father. Do you have any information regarding the date of the picture, or the identity of anyone else in the picture? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Wait a minute...I didn't make her memorial...I asked for it to be transferred to perhaps the person who added it is right....

Hey Glenda, I wonder if I accidentally put her in the wrong place? Because we definitely were at Glen Oaks for the service and viewing...but then we left there and did the entombing somewhere else...which strikes me as Glendale....let me ask my aunt...her mom

Hi Glenda, Pam is in the Mausoleum....I want to say 3rd floor...but I can't remember...I know she is upstairs...with other Scorcia members...outside wall, window...That is all I remember from the funeral...
