Minor Chambers
Could Minor be Jacob M. Chambers buried in Ollie Cemetery, Keokuk County, Iowa. The dates seem to match well. His tombstone was just unearthed.

RE: Duplicate Entries for the Same Ancestor
I am in no position whatsoever to comment on your research, Col. Cornwell, other than to applaud it. But yes, there is indeed a FindAGrave written policy regarding more than one entry per ancestor. And the policy is to not intentionally create duplicate memorials. Ever. You can read about it in the FAQ section at: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=listFaqs.

You can use the built-in tools on the edit tab (called Suggest a Correction) to send updates to the Bio field of the original memorial, and ask the manager to give you credit credit for the Bio update. Always make sure you 'check' the box to send a copy of the suggestion to yourself. The manager of the original memorial has 30 days to respond. After that length of time has passed, and if you haven't gotten resolution, you can forward your copy of the "suggest a correction" email to the admin at Find A Grave and ask them to get involved.

I believe this gentleman may be my 9th Great Grandfather according to several contributors family trees. Are you related? Do you have documentation? I know I am full of questions and hope you don't mind. I am the Registrar for my local DAR Chapter so I know the importance of the proof. If you can help me in any way I would appreciate it. Thank you.

A HUGE THANK YOU!!
Thank you so much for all of the work you have put into the Barger/Barringer and other lines I am still reading through. I sincerely appreciate you. You've compiled fantastic histories and I have loved reading them tonight.

RE: Minor Chambers
My understanding is that we are not linked by DNA to the Joseph Chambers line. Any other thoughts? Thanks.

RE: Minor Chambers
Yes. Related.
David lee chambers, Edwin Jasper Chambers is my great grandfather.

I understand there is some yDNA genetic testing being done to determine some lineage.

RE: Cunningham in Dean Cemetery
Larry,

You don't have to do anything for the transfer, I'll just do it.

Did you see that John Wallace, mentioned in R. Cunninghams will, is buried in the cemetery also?

Can you attach your Robert Cunningham memorial to the Dean Cemetery? Then I'll delete the one I have, and attach the photo of his footstone.

RE: Thanks for the Cunningham photo post
I'll post it for you Larry. I've attached a few children to Agnes also. Take a look at all of the interments in the Dean Cemetery. You'll find one for R.C. I think this is the footstone for Robert Cunningham's grave. There has been a lot of damage at this cemetery over the past two hundred years. It's been extremely neglected. Would you like Hannah, Rebbecca, and Samuel Cunningham tranferred to your management?
