RE: Fleming and Frances Tice
you are welcome. There was a lot of Tice's in a few of the cemeteries we went to. I didn't find the parents but it doesn't mean they are not there. I looked through the photos we took with cameras and didn't see any more Tice's. But you should add their memorials and they can easily be moved if they are in another one. We live about 90 miles away so won't be back there soon. But maybe someone else will find them, best wishes Connie and Wayne

RE: Quirin Family
You're so welcomed, Martha...and what an education to at last figure out which Quirins are actually buried in their family plot!

Photo Request
Hello, I'm I Find a Grave volunteer who lives near Memorial Cemetery in Skokie. There is some confusion about taking photos at this cemetery, but I have taken a number in the last few years. What I can't do is look up the location for you. If you call the cemetery 847-864-5061 and then post the location in your request, I will attempt to fulfill it. Some folks have reported to me that the cemetery will not give out the location via phone. This is hard to understand if you are a family member. I would prefer to have the location posted rather than sent to me via email. Susanne D

Hi Martha
This is part of the older sections in Calvary and there are many great open spaces as you can see,
I didn't see any old flat markers or any appearance there were any headstone here......JP

Please accept edits
Dear Martha, I have made a number of edits to memorials that you manage. Please go into your contributor tools, the "edit" tab, and accept the edits. I have access to a document that has preserved the transcriptions from the stones that were read between 1900 and 1950 that is kept by the church. Thanks for your help! Bonnie

RE: Zachariah Hinton and family
Hi, Martha! We made it to Flemingsburg last week, and I was able to find the final settlement of Ezekiel Hinton's will at the courthouse. Contact me at so we can figure out how to get a copy of it to you. Have I invited you to my ancestry tree? If so, I can post it as a story there, and you can get to it.

All the best,

RE: Fisher Family
OK. If you could send me a link to those two memorials (John and Annie Fisher) that would help me a lot. Once I know where to put them, I'll attach them straightaway.

RE: Fisher Family
OK. Based on that info, I've deleted the pictures from the FindAGrave entry for your John Fisher. He is pretty clearly Annie's husband, from the positions of the graves, so this is not the correct John.

How confident are you that we have the right Minnie? I wonder if I should remove that one also?
