Bio and Links
Bio Photo I will add any information, links, etc on request and usually add as soon as received. However, requests must meet site criteria. Please give at least 30 days to add requested information as most of us are not sitting at a computer waiting for your requests.

In fairness to those who may have closer ties to a memorial, please read Transfer Guidelines prior to requesting a transfer.

IF YOU DO NOT USE THE EDIT/MAKE A SUGGESTION TAB ALL REQUESTS WILL BE UNANSWERED AND DELETED. Sorry, but I do not have time to search for the correct memorial and member numbers for your requests.

It is YOUR responsibility to inform us are how YOU link to any transfer request. Request simply asking for a transfer with no reference as to how you are related or why you desire this memorial will no longer be acknowledged and deleted on sight.

It is getting rather tiring of requests to transfer with all that is being said it "This is Family or my kin". For me to take a request serious, I need to know how they are family. This is not a grand buffet where memorials are picked and taken at ease, I have worked very hard on what I have added. Memorials are not to be requested as if they were baseball cards to see how many you can collect to maintain!

The SSDI only lists the last address where benefits were received, not where someone actually died. Please do not send death locations based on the SSDI.

Also please keep in mind, more and more of us are running into this problem, The contributor does not owe anyone an explanation of who they are kin to or how. Most of us have fulfilled our genealogical purposes and prefer to remain unknown.

I am sorry if this offends anyone. I will be happy to help anyone whenever I can.

Hi Glenda,

I added new info of the recent passing of my mother who was the eldest child of Ida Belle & Lenon Rowland. She was Janet Lynn Rowland (spelled as Linn on her birth certificate but she did not like that spelling so she always spelled it Lynn as her middle name). And her younger brother was "Ronnie", or Ronald Rowland.

Glenda, there is a tombstone for a little girl named Dollie Kirby, 5/27/1900 - 7/7/1901, next to Mrs. Kirby. Do you know if the child might be hers? Thanks. --Harriet

Glenda, have you ever come across a photo of Elizabeth's husband, David Brown? They are my 2nd great-grandparents.

Young Bend Cemetery Dekalb County, Tennessee
Have just discovered that more than one of your additions to Findagrave are at Mt. View Cemetery in Dekalb County, Tennessee. I hate to inform you but Mt. View's name was changed to Young Bend somewhere in the early 20th century. Originally it must have been named such for the adjacent church. I have a huge transcription of Young Bend that I've been working on for several weeks and had noted that numerous death certificates named the place Mt. View but that Young Bend was the actual burial place.

Would you please transfer your people into Young Bend (Young Bend Cemetery is located on Bright Hill Road approximately 6 miles southeast of Smithville, very near the Mount View The Baptist Church.)?

If I can be of any assistance or help in clarification please let me know.

Calvin Long
Glenda, I was visiting the memorials and see
one has Calvin married to a Clara Dean?
I visited with Raymon's nephew and he said
Calvin had only been married once, to
Cassie. Calvin and Cassie died just a few day's
apart from the fever.

May I please use the photo for my Family Tree Maker? He was married to my 2nd cousin, no need to transfer. I'd just like to use his photo. His wife, a friend of mine on Facebook doesn't mind if I use it. Also I noticed someone has also got his obit posted as being buried in South Carolina, someone really goofed there, it should be taken off from the other listing.
