I'm very confused. In early May, I submitted several corrections (SACs) about duplicates. You have been "active" over the past month, but the duplicates have not been addressed?!? Phil's 4th great grandparents are Saunders and Nancy Qualls Austin but the marriage date for the 2 you are asking about doesn't match them. Their children were born before 1850.
3rd G grandparents: Archibald Saunders and Martha Qualls Austin
GG grandparents: Stephen Alfred and Mary Seaton Austin
G grandparents: John Riley and Nancy Virginia Stricklin Austin.
Grandparents: Dudley Beasley Sparks and Lois Lee Austin Sparks

Can anyone tell me if John Bess had a brother Eli Bess (born abt 1813 in South Carolina). I am looking for Eli's death date. I last found him on the 1880 census with his wife Lear (Killian) Bess, living in District 6, Warren Co., TN. Would very much appreciate any help.
