| Bio and Links | I am descendant from pioneers who came to California:1854 three families, 1856 one , and 1862 one family. They all settled in Mariposa County. The pioneers who came were the Helm family; Turner family; Lewis family; Probasco family; and Orme family. I have written one book on the family tree of the Helm Turner family. Genealogy has been my passion since my mother in law got me started on it in 2000.

 | RE: Laverne Hofeditz Then Laverne Dwight Hofeditz was married twice? When he died his widow was listed as Esther Mary Murray Hodfeditz who was born 1902 and died 1991, who was cremated and the ashes went home with a family member. Laverne Dwight was also cremated and the mortuary book listed that his cremains were scattered on the home property. Laverne Dwight's parents were listed as Mabel Benshoff and Henry Hofeditz, both of them born in Iowa.Added by Goldrush on Mar 17, 2013 11:56 AM | | | CosmosMariner
 | RE: Martha Potter Sorry about the Martha Potter mix-up. I'd offer to try and get a photo of your Martha Potter's grave, but I don't live in the region. I was in St. Clair County recently for a visit and took a few photos of family graves in the Roscoe cemetery. Good luck! | | | First Families of America

Anton and Henrietta; Raymond and Myrtle (hus and wife; buried just behind Anton, Henrietta and Nicholas).
Rose and William Schwister; their daughters, Laura and Lillie.
Edwin and Marie Schwister; brother and sister. Not sure, yet, who their parents are. | | | Toni
