|I was born in Lebanon, Mo and have never lived more than 75 miles from there. Even though I have been interested in my family history for quite some time I just recently took the plunge and decided to locate my ancestors. I married a month after high school graduation to my high school sweetheart. We have two sons, one married with three daughters and one son, and one that is a Marine and not married. The surnames that I am looking for are O'Dell, Lee, Mace, Keesling, Ruble, Eilenstine (Eilenstein), Lillard, Pline, Golden, Overman, Patrick, Rudd, Merrick, Wheeler, Alden, Mullins, and Foote.|

My great grandmother, Mary Jane Melvin Dennis, moved to Claremore OK after the death of her husbnd Isam Dennis. I'm sure she moved 7 children to be with Elizabeth's son. For years I could not understand why a widow with all those children would move to Oklahoma without knowing someone. Now I know why.
Isam is buried by James Melvin at Bear Thicket. I visited there in 1980. My mother had the small picture of Mary Jane, who we called Janie and she gave it to me. She told me Janie had red hair.
thank you again.

Hi Debbie, thank you for all the Melvin and Lee memorials you have. My great grandmother was Mary J. Melvin Dennis. She married Isam Dennis and I think you Andrew Dennis is my great Uncle. My grandfather was the son of Mary and Isam Dennis. I have been looking for her sisters for years. I knew Elizabeth moved to Webster county with the family and married a Lee in Webster county. Elizabeth, Mary J. and Cornelia had a sister who died very young. She is somewhere in Webster county. Thank you again for all your work. I have added a few links to my pictures. I am 75 years old and so glad I found my great grandmother's sister.

Thank You Debbie.

Frank sent me an e-mail telling me that he had sent them to you and I needed to work with you on this. He said he had 12 of their children. I don't understand but maybe you could transfer them to me. I have found 8 of these children and they are on my findagrave memorials. I have also found 3 others that I have ask for transfers for. There are 3 or 4 missing. I would like to link all the children to Tolliver and Phoebies' memorial. Millie Jones is my great grandmother. Her son Alexander Tolliver Walker married Nora Arlena Rue, my grandmother and her daughter Elizabeth Zoe Schulze is my mother. I don't know if you and I are related or what. Or where you are on the tree. I am new at this, I need your help so just bear with me.
Thank You Garry

Yep, we are connected through the union of Ruble-Barnes then. How funny! I guess not too surprising though, with so many Missouri families in the mix. The Dennis line is murky for me but I know that Andrew Jackson Dennis is my direct ancestor and his daughter Nancy married David Alexander Sartain had a son Floyd who had a son Floyd who had a son Floyd Gary, who was my dad. Whew! I don't think I know who is behind Andrew but I will review that. I have been working so much that genealogy has been on the side lately. I will let you know what I find!
