Col. Armwell Long
Hi! I found an interesting article published in the Milford Chronicle about Col. Long and posted it on his memorial site you created (31835003). I Hope you don't mind...if you'd like me to take it down, please let me know.

David Long
forgot to say, I think you should change the note you have here. Are you able to read anything on the stone? Since he d in 1791, and at that time markers were made of wood, it would not have been placed there when he died but later.

David Long
in Armwell Long cemetery--Yes, he did leave the property to son Armwell BUT he wasn't the David Long who served in Capt. Ralston's Co. in the Rev War. According the the current DAR he was too old to serve. I have an enlistment record that shows a David and John enlisting on the same date--unable to prove that thjey were David's sons.

New Year Blessing!!!
The New Year is like a new born child. It is placed in our hands as the old year passes away. The days and weeks to come are God's gift; they carry God's blessing. As a blessing we welcome them. So my hope for the year ending is that all that was good in it remain with you and yours throughout 2009. And all that was not good be left behind.

Much joy and love,

Holiday Greetings!
It's the most wonderful time of the year. "Jesus is the reason for the season." May you and yours have a blessed and safe holiday.

Much love,

My pleasure! There's a lot of history tied to that cemetery. I just happened across it on my way home from a business meeting and happened to have my camera.

Hi, Brad!

Howard W. Jackson is Edward P. Jackson's older brother. My uncle's siblings were young adults when he was born to their parents.

Hi, Brad!

Thanks for your kindness and time in locating my uncle's burial site (Edward P. Jackson), too bad no headstone has ever been placed there. Again, thanks!

Be blessed,
