Are you a son or grandson of Margaret Johnson Chapman? If so, I'd like to exchange information with you. She is a descendant of my Barb(e) ancestor.

John Chapman
Rees, I just found your pictures of the Chapman Cemetery and John Chapman's gravesite. If you go forward 4 generations and move to Texas there is another Chapman cemetery with direct male links to John. My great-grandmother was a Chapman and from her back are the male links in the family. So that probably makes us passing cousins somehow in the family. And you are right, geneology is a wonderful way to spend LOTS of time.

Bryan, Texas

Chapman Cemetery
Rees-
I just stumbled upon your contributions from Chapman Cemetery. The last photos that I had from you were the original ones where the headstones had not been cleaned and appeared in decay. I was amazed at how they have been cleaned and restored. You have done a beautiful job!! I am so happy that something that had been lost for so long has been found and made available for the rest of us. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. One question, though. Is it Chapman Cemetery or Mount Prospect? And, who are the owners of the private property now?

Sincerely,
Kendra Ziebell
