|Hi there, I have only been researching family history for a short period of time,and I am hooked! I really enjoy doing this. It is one of the most challenging, interesting things I have ever done.I hope everything I post is correct and done the correct way. As I said I am new at this.If you think you could be connected to my family, contact me and we can exchange information. This is such a great way to pay respect to our ancestors. Thanks to EVERYONE who contributes to this project, it is a very helpful tool in researching. Good luck in your search. CATSMEOW|

By checking all the listed burials for Holman Cemetery, you were the first to post burials there. I guess someone else may have first entered the cemetery, but it is not too often that someone enters a cemetery without listing at least one burial.

I left some numbers off my first posting. I have got it now.
I was out at Holman Cemetery again Monday and we took a GPS reading near the center of the cemetery. The location on FindAGrave has the cemetery on the east side of the road when it is actually on the west side in the square of trees. A better reading would be 37.20395 and -88.95261. Check it out and you can tell.

Are you the original person that entered Holman Cemetery in Ballard County, KY?

Hello, my name is Jill Holt. I just retired from my job and am trying to do family history. I have much to learn but am so excited to get started. My husbands family seems to have been the easiest to find. There are lots of Holts!!
I was looking for John Holt and found him on this site. He would be my husbands GGGGgrandfather.
My husband's name is Harvey S. Holt, his father was Dick Holt, his father was Finis Holt, his father was Lawrence G. Holt, his father was William Harden Holt, and his father was John Holt married to Nancy Ramey.
Thank you for the great information you provided. I was delighted to find others working on these lines. I would love to visit the cemeteries you mentioned. I live in California but who knows maybe one of these days.
Thank you again,
|rchaprave||William H Holt|
I am descended from Daniel Chapman as is William's wife Malissa Veatch. Interestingly, my wife is descended from James W Holt, b 1809, in Clinton County, Ky. I have not been able to tie him to William H but wondered if you have info on William's line that might tie them.
Thought I'd say hello as I noticed today that you are descended from our Revolutionary War ancestor Daniel. He was my ggggrandfather. I am descended from his son George Washington Chapman. If you want to contact me directly, my e-mail is email@example.com. I'd be glad to share with you what info I have on the Chapman's.
