|I am an amateur genealogist researching my family, my late husband's family and my current husband's family. I was lucky enough to inherit research done by both my own mother and my late mother-in-law. Between computerizing that they had and doing my own research, I should be finished .... ummmmm ..... NEVER! LOL|

Took the picture, but sorry to say it is pretty much unreadable, but for the Ruby on top of the stone. Was in the correct location!

On Find A Grave I looked at the photo requests for Concord Cemetery in Texas Co. MO and saw the note that was left about photos you posted at the texasco.mogen web for Concord Cemetery. That is how I found your contributor number. I wanted to tell you that several of the people you have on that website in Concord Cemetery are not in Concord but in Williams Cemetery, Texas Co. I have been taking pictures recently at Williams Cemetery and posting them on Find A Grave. My email address is firstname.lastname@example.org. If you will contact me I will tell you the names.

Something else you might want to know...about those rocks out there. Only about four of the rocks are old unmarked graves. In recent years, since the cemetery is begining to fill up, it was decided that those of us who plan to be buried there need to mark our spots, even if just with a rock. Since then a number of new rocks have appeared. (My mother couldn't bring herself to do it for some reason, but she was buried only about a year later, and once her marker was placed, I took her aluminum one from the funeral home, removed her first name, and placed it on my spot on the other side of Dad. So you will also see there a grave marked only with an aluminum funeral home marker, with only the name McFarland on it. If you look closely enough you might see where I scratch into it with a screwdriver, "Misi goes here" lol.)

I happened upon your site http://texas.mogenweb.org/cemeteries/freewill_baptist.htm
and wanted to let you know that the cemetery isn't in any way connected to the church. It isn't actualy "Number One Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery" at all. In fact there was a huge flap several years ago over the church requesting to temporarily use ground owned by the cemetery. The whole family was called in to a board meeting to put a stop to that. The cemetery is a completely separate entity. It just happens to be next to the church.

|Misi||Hopewell photo requests|
I noticed you had gone out to Hopewell Cemetery to fullfill several photo requests and reported a problem of not finding the markers. I have run into an issue with Hopewell also, and am wondering if your problem was caused by the same thing mine was. This cemetery is marked in the wrong place on the map. I was looking for my mothers uncles grave, William Atherton...which is listed as being in Hopewell Cememtery. I know the area VERY well. Grew up in Texas and Wright counties, and as a teen lived just down TT from Big Piney. Uncle Willy owned the Huggins store at one time, and lived in THAT area, not around Piney, so it made no sense he would be buried there. Plus it made no sense to me that Uncle Willy was buried in that cemetery at Piney because Mom would have mentioned that. Well he's NOT. I was just at his grave yesterday! FINALLY found it. Now for starters...Big Piney is NOT in Texas County anyway, it's in Pulaski County. Uncle Willy IS buried at Hopewell Cemetery...and so are the Ratteries...BUT Hopewell Cemetery is near Bendavis. Which is a loooong way from Piney. Anyway I wanted to let you know that about the Hopewell cemetery, and wanted to find out for sure if the cemetery where you looked was the one at Piney...because I am wondering if the one there has the same name or what. I'm going to try to contact the person who listed the Hopewell Cemetery, and if that doesn't work I guess I will relist it correctly, because there is no sense in people being sent off on these wild goose chases.

Also near Daniel and Mary's lot is Martin and Georgia L Denkler. Georgia signed Josephine's death certificate.

|Debbie J||George Hafner in Mt Olivet|
Hi, I have taken pictures and linked every Hafner that I could find in Mt Olivet. Josephine has a large monument and lot but only one marker, hers. Near this lot, is Daniel and Mary Haffner with their children. I found a George William Hafner in this lot. I do not know if he is your George. His 1900 Census said he was married but no wife was living with him. His 1910 Census stated he was widowed. His death certificate states he was divorced. It looks like he is yours. Can you tell me for sure and I will move my pictures and delete that memorial.
