Genealogy has become a hobby of mine over the last several years, and I am related to many of the individuals whose information I've contributed to Find a Grave. I've also started photographing some of the smaller cemeteries in my area. If you have overlapping research interests, or simply additions or corrections to any of my submissions, feel free to drop me a line.|

Yes. He was a great man.
I was wondering if you find some info on my grandmother Ruby (Waldstein) Schwalb. I don't know much about her.
Please and thank you.

I have information to share with you about John Law. The spouse you have listed was his first wife and after she died he remarried.
John is my third great grandfather.

You are welcome. I suspect there are many interments at Whitesville without markers, as there are clusters of headstones, and then plot-sized areas between them without stones.

Thank you so much Craig for all your help finding and posting my Duguid ancestors!! I truly appreciate the help and would be happy to reciprocate with Illinois graveyards if you need them!
|Paul Sutton Kamalsky||RE: Spencer Bortle|
You are welcome. The man I spoke with lives in Penfield and he was
an older man. I don't recall his name but I thought he had photos on
the Egypt Cemetery pages. I don't find him there now. He has taken
photos all over that area and photographed entire cemeteries. He
did not have a photo of the stone of Spencer Bortle. I photographed
all the stones but there were already photos up of like quality. I was
on the way home from Strong to Newark
All the best.

There is no stone now for Spencer Bortle. I told her that already
A volunteer who has photographed thousands of stones told me
that his and others' have been destroyed by vandals since he
went to Egypt a few years ago

Hi Craig: I would like your permission to attach the photo of this memorial headstone to the family tree I'm working on. Was wondering if this is a relation to you? Thanks for all the work you've done and contributed to this site.
