I have always loved my family history, wondering what it was like for my mother's side to emigrate from Luxembourg, and for my father who lived in Germany with his grandparents the first 2 years of his life before coming to America. |
I started collecting tidbits of information from my grandmother's when I was in high school in the late 60's/early 70's, and then started really doing research, mostly online in the late 90's.
My family surnames are: Schoborg, Prom, Klaesges, Bromenschenkel, Hoffmann, Ratermann and anyone who married in those families.

I made the changes. Would you like her transferred to you?
Thanks for the info. I made the updates.
Thank you for the birth info for Leslie Bennett Vennard. I wish his father were listed on FindAGrave so they could be linked to his paternal line.

It was difficult finding Theodore using the umlaute. In encountering this with other memorials, I have found that they use the anglaisized ue and put the German spelling in the information on the memorial. Makes it easier to find.
Just a suggestion.

Would be glad to link John Kueven to Theodore. Can you give me Theodore's memorial number or go to his memorial and send request. I couldn't locate Theodore's memorial with umlante.
