|Researching my Vance ancestors since 2004. Earliest ancestors are William and Elizabeth Vance who came to Chester County, PA from Ireland in 1741. From Chester County they spread to Fayette Co, Pa, then to Highland Co, OH; then to Cherokee Co, KS; then to Ouray, CO and finally settled in California.|

I heard back from the genealogy library in Columbus, and this Matilda Mitchell is not the one you think she is. I entered some information in her bio.

Frances Tener is my 4th-great grandmother. I do not transfer direct ancestors, but will be glad to add any information you wish to display. I am a descendant through her son Isaac.

I wish I did have a photo of the marker. This listing came from a transcription which could have been based on markers in the cemetery at the time or possibly based on records, I do not know. Please put in a request for the photo and hopefully someone who lives nearby will be able to get a photo for you. Cashie

That came from Jacob's first marriage record....it listed both his parents and her parents.
Hi, Bill. My info comes from census records, marriage records and family records. Jacob married Mary S. Martin in 1870; after her death, he married Rachel Fisher in 1881. (Rosanna Price in your message is his mother, not his wife.) Are you related as well? Let me know if I can help in any way. Take care.
