You are welcome. Sure, send me the information. Elmwood Cemetery is not too far away from me; information may help in other requests, etc.

Thank you for your quick reply. It would be really interesting to see your pictures. We thought the buildings were on the Cornish Center road near a building which was once a church, I believe, but now the Cornish town offices. On an 1892 map for CornishfromNH State Atlas by D.H. Hurd, it shows both D.H.H and G.E Hillard homesteads. Perhaps it is George's home that is still standing and the shop is across the road from that. Both are shown in the same general vicinity. Looking forward to seeing what you have.Thank you again,

I have a friend who has become very interested in David Hilliard as a gun maker. He lives in Windsor, Vermont and from an old atlas saw the spot in Cornish Center, NH. where the gun shop was. He has been there and it has apparently been taken down. You mentioned that the building where he made guns is still there and we wonder where that might be and if it still stands. Thank you in advance for any information. I lived in Cornish Flat as a child but never appreciated all the wonderful history of the town. Pat

I don't have a whole lot of info on the Newbury Morses.
John Morse (1 Mar 1708 - 10 Sep 1777) was known as Sgt. John Morse. He married Lydia Kelly (31 May 1713 - 7 May 1795), who was his 2nd cousin. They are both descended from multiple original settlers of Newbury.
Thank you so much for the Timothy Morse photo!
