Crow Cemetery
Hi -

This very small cemetery in Coryell County, Tx. It is on private property, accessible only by contacting the owner and getting him to take you there. It's very old, with only about 6 stones that are readable. Many other stones are scattered, but are either not engraved or the writing has worn away. There is no sign for the cemetery. It's just tucked away among the trees and brush. I believe Pearl Mayes, daughter of Martha Jane Weaver was the last person buried there -- in 1911. The markers for Martha and Pearl were replaced much more recently. The Crow family is together inside a fenced area, then the Weavers (Samuel, Martha Jane, and daughter Pearl). I've posted pictures of the Weavers.

I'd be happy to tell you how to contact the owner, but because it is private property, I hesitate to post that information on a public message board. I'll have to get his permission for that.

Sorry I haven't been more helpful.
