Lucy Lindsay
Check the oconto county genweb site-google search will bring it up right away. I believe they have a photo posted of the original Lindsay Family cemetery form the 1800's. They were the first settlers in Oconto and had a family plot on their property. The web site also has a lot of information on the family. I am pretty sure that Lucy was buried there and not at Evergreen. They may have moved the family plot to Evergreen at some point, but the original graves were marked with simple white wooden crosses.

I made the transfer. I am very sorry for taking so long to do this. I took a break from Find-a-Grave for several weeks and just noticed this request was still outstanding. If there is anything else I can do for you please don't hesitate to ask. I am usually much quicker.

God Bless,

RE: Pvt Joseph
It was my pleasure. I'm happy it was found by a relative with interest!

I just updated some of the information you sent.

Pvt Joseph "Joe" Bailey
Hello Linda,

I just read your message on this grave I posted a few years ago. I documented several Civil War and other older gravestones I came across. I was very intrigued when I saw you are a direct descendant of Pvt Bailey. Do you have his date of birth, death, or other information for me you update?

Thank you again.

Jared Bailey
Do you know anyone who can photograph Jared Bailey's headstone, at Founders Cemetery? I see that there is a Jerrod Bailey, with the same dates, at Battle Ridge Cemetery, and I am trying to sort it all out. Thanks.
