RE: Peters
I didn't answer right away because I was thinking over the dilemma. I looked through the burials in the Burt Cemetery and counted at least 9 who died before 1885, including both of Saphronia's Burt grandparents. She writes that there was one grave there already, so I don't think she was talking about the Burt Cemetery. My opinion is to leave him buried in Roseburg Memorial Gardens and delete him from the Burt Cemetery listing.

RE: Phillip Peters
There is a memorial for him with a photo of the headstone on the Roseburg Memorial Gardens site. It was also recorded in 1975 by Georgia Gratke and Tim Abney in their inventory of the Old Masonic Section. Memorial #108729752. So, yes, I am sure.

I am sorry you feel that way about findagrave. Even with it's faults it is a wonderful resource tool for family researchers.
