RE: Wm Blair, 32436814
I was just thinking, it may be a good idea to note your source on the site (like you wrote) because he's not listed on any surveys in the last 100 years at this very old cemetery. It would help people save some time. Appreciate your time,

Wm Blair, 32436814
Hi, What is your source that Wm Blair is buried at the Glebe Cemetery? I can't find a record of it anywhere. He's not on any of the early surveys there in 1930 and 1936. Thanks,

RE: Lydia BeVier
Thank you so much for your help!

I will contact the Bevier family genealogist and update him on Daniel and Lydia's children.

Really, thanks again! What a wonderful resource to have for research!

All my best,

Lydia is my 4th great grandmother.

Additional child of Jacob and Maria Bevier

I am researching the Gray family who started in Broome Co. NY.

The genealogical information that I have states that Daniel Gray b. 04/09/1781 married Lydia Bevier.

I have her birthdate as September 25, 1784. Birthplace as Ulster Co. NY.

She and Daniel have a family and are located in Chenango, Broome, New York on the 1820 census.

Between 1830 and 1840 Daniel moves to Michigan with his sons, leaving Lydia and her daughters behind in NY. He dies in Calhoun County, Michigan in 1840.

Lydia died March 14, 1861 in Broome County, NY according to my records - but I have yet to find a grave. I suspect that she is buried in Spring Forest Cemetery Binghamton, Broome County, New York with her daughters.

Is there any possibility that Jacob and Maria are her parents. Or perhaps another Bevier family in Ulster, NY.

Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.

Have a great day!

Francis Napoleon Holt
Hi, I am trying to find the grave for Susan Florence Lathrom Holt (Wife of Francis, looks like she died of childbirth). Do you have any info on her site? Here is the Memorial for Francis her husband 94963341. There you will also see a link to their daughter's gravesite. I have looked for her in both cemeteries here and no luck. Hoping you can help. She was a sister to my great grandmother.

Thank you

Mary Holt Parentage
Pat, I sure will let you know. You're right, though. Whether Francis or Thomas, I doubt we'll ever be able to find definitive proof. Right now I don't have her linked to either of them on my Ancestry tree; but I do think they're the two most likely candidates.

All the best,

RE: William Marion Holt
Thank you, Pat.

Are you in touch with my cousin Renee Fukuwara by any chance? She would agree with you that Francis M. is the son of John and Mary "Polly" Jones Holt; but she thinks that Thomas Holt, who married Cynthia Waters, is also a son of John and Mary, and that they are better candidates for Polly Holt Strunk's parents than Francis M. and Sarah Denney Holt; although, she would concede that the latter couple might be her parents. She also believes that we're in the Robert Holt line (Marion; Polly; Thomas/Francis; John; Francis; Plunkett Harroway; Richard; Robert). Unfortunately, since our branch of the family are really Coffeys (now proven via DNA testing), we don't have a direct line Holt male to test! So if you can help us in determining our gg-grandmother Polly H. Strunk's parentage, it would be much appreciated.

All the best,

William Marion Holt
Hi Pat,

William Marion Holt is my maternal great grandfather. I would be happy to manage his memorial if you'd like to transfer it to me.

Are you related to him in some way, too?

All the best,
Rosemary S.

RE: Peter Strouse
Thanks for the info, and maybe we'll find something on the stone; I was thinking also of asking for a photo, so thanks. Just realizing that if he married 1824, then the daughter Fannie someone ascribed to him who was born in 1815 can't be Catherine's ... if it is his, at all. It is amazing how people butcher research! As I said, this is a long shot but maybe in the pursuit I'll break through the brick wall. Thanks again for writing and for anything you may find out.
