My home town is Westport, Co Mayo, Ireland. I joined FAG while researching my Ancestors who emigrated to Chicago.
I have realised my dream - travelled to Chicago and visited 3 of the graveyards where my Ancestors are buried.
Most of my Memorials/Cemeteries are in Ireland. If you find a relative and wish to add/change information, please feel free to contact me.
Most of my Memorials have Graveshots. I flower all my Memorials and link them with relative's. Ones that may not have Graveshots are my own relatives where I have not located their resting spot, although I know the Cemetery.
I am happy to transfer Memorials to Family Members, however my photographs are copyright and I would like to be notified should anyone require a copy of same.
Thank You to Jim and Tammy who have helped me find the resting place of my Lavelle Family in NY.
In the early part of 2012 I set up the Mayo Genealogy Group in Castlebar, we have monthly meetings in the National Museum of Country Life, Turlough. We have set up a Facebook Page, if you would like to join and post queries about your Mayo Ancestors check out our page.

I take it you're not referring to my 'Rosie' cheeks. I will add the two memorials based on the April email if you don't mind.
I can appreciate the demands of the Mayo groups at the moment and good luck with all your work.
And a belated Happy Birthday.

 | RE: Re' OBrien I am sorry I honestly didn't single you out. I looked for the mistake in search and made SACs without realizing how often the same manager. | | | Jerry van
 | RE: Re OBrien Out of over 300,000 that are maintained by Find A Grave administration If you search the way you have it spelled, you will find ZERO memorials with that spelling regardless of pictures or obits. Neither will you find O Neil. It is not a matter of which spelling is correct. It is a matter of all various punctuation and spacing variables be under one spelling so they can be found by the community. you can't expect people to search all the variables to find a simple common name. http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=mr&MRid=8 | | | Barry
 | RE: Re: Violet & Peter Hoban No thank you, I was just trying to be thorough, I have the GPS records for them as well if you would like!Added by Barry on May 30, 2013 5:58 AM | | | John Hughes
 | Re: Mary Moran, Aughavale. Thanks for the quick response. No relation - I am actually working with Tammy back here in Dallas to create memorials and/or add photos as she travels through Ireland. Hope you have enjoyed your visit together. | | | Linda and William S.
 | William Conneally Many thanks for the photo of the gravestone for William & Annie Conneally at Ballintubber Graveyard, Co. Roscommon.
I will be forwarding this photo to William & Annie's grandson (here in the States); his name is Brian Schlaak (Brian lives in Kansas, USA) & I am Brian's first cousin (I live in Wisconsin, USA).
Also, will you please go back to this cemetery, when you are able to, & take close-up photos of this gravestone: one photo of just William Conneally, one of Annie Conneally and one of their son Brian and submit them to each of the respective memorials? I have just created a memorial for Brian Conneally.
Thankyou.
