Leonard Ricketts
I sponsor a genealogy club at a local high school in Huntersville, NC. We tried to locate Leonard Ricketts' gravestone to add a photo to Findagrave today, but were unsuccessful. We combed all of section 3. If you have any further help for locating his marker, we will be happy to go back out for you.

RE: J.M. Kauffman Photo
I posted both of the photos. Just to make sure you know exactly where the markers are . . . they are located at Highland Cemetery in ADAMS, Nebraska, not Cortland. Just in case you try to find the cemetery in the future.

Would You, Please, put a note on both Alfred #155922428 & Martha #122922584 Memorials that they have NO TOMBSTONES so everyone will know ??? I sent you a message back in Feb. when you requested the photos, but it hasn't been taken care of yet, so I thought I'd try this way to get it done....Thanks.

Could you please add John Robert Schaeffer (75323045) to Corp. John H. Schaeffer as his son.

He was his son with Elizabeth Henne Schaeffer Wilhelm 38255784.

There was also another child they had together, Ezra Calvin Schaeffer. He is supposedly buried at Laurel Cemetery but I can't find a memorial for him only his death certificate.

Thank You,
Patress Schaeffer

Not his stone
Hi,

I went back out to the cemetery today and that wasn't his stone. :(

I had hoped I could find it, but the one I thought it was isn't it.

So unfortunately that stone is not there or part of the unknowns sorry.

RE: Benjamin Stine Greenwood Cemetery
I see the plot and section in your info so I will go back this week with the map I have and see if he might be one I know that's unreadable now.

the map is a very bad one unfortunately but I think I know exactly which place this is and it has an unreadable stone. If that is the plot I am thinking of.

I will also have to do some digging to see if they have children buried with them because the stone I am thinking of looks like it has some names on the side of the stone.

so I will try to match up names this week. Then I will get back with you. It might be the week after that when I get back to you though.

have a great day!

RE: Benjamin Stine Greenwood Cemetery
Hi, I will add some of that info you sent me into his bio.

I have been actively researching that cemetery now for over 5 years.

There has been some vandalism there and some stones are completely unreadable now. Sometimes when the stones get vandalized they don't get replaced. So if I don't have a plot or section for the burial I may not find the grave let alone a stone for him. He very well could be one of the unreadable stones.

I will try to go out there again, but I doubt there is an actual stone left for him.

Benjamin Stine Greenwood Cemetery
I'm sorry but I have photographed the entire cemetery and have not seen that stone. There are a few stones that are now unreadable check those in the unknown section of the cemetery listings maybe he is one of those?? Do you know the plot or section he is in??
More than likely there is no stone left any more for him.
Sadly we have had stones break or be vandalized as well and then not replaced.

Hope this helps?
