 | RE: Henry Young Mr. Ballenas,
Thank you so much for getting back to me. I am in possession of the death certificate for Henry/Harry Young who died on August 14, 1920. It clearly indicates date of burial at Maple Grove Cemetery on August 17, 1920.
The undertaker listed looks to be A.E. Drakrell, 310 Willis Avenue.
The original family name was Jung. I do not know where Harry's parents were buried, perhaps they also are in Maple Grove and he was buried with them in a plot under Jung? His father was Carl/Charles Jung whom died in 1897.
My only other thought that may help is that Harry Young was a NYPD Sergeant and I believe at that time the PBA purchased plots for some members of the department
Thanks so much for your insight and help.
Maria

 | RE: Olmstead Gravemarkers That would be great, my email is sspaulding816@verizon.net
I'm the lineage chair for my DAR chapter in Centreville, VA. I'm working with Normand's granddaughter. I'm putting the finishing touches on her application. I will let her know about the cemetery and the historical aspect and family stories.
Thank you so much,
Susan | | | Susan Barrow Spaulding

 | Many thanks! Mr. Ballenas, Thank you so much for your pic of my Great Grandparents Head Stone!
My dad is now 84 and he remembers his Grandmother & Aunt very well. Although he never met his Grandfather Charles for, he was killed by his horses delivering his bakery goods in 1918.
Just a tid bit Charles' Grand Children are direct descendants of Captain John Underhill.
Happy Easter and thank you so much! | | | | [View all messages...] |
