Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm a native of Utah now living in Raleigh, NC. I'm a genealogist and all around history buff.

Please let me know if you find errors in my memorials so that I may correct them. Also please feel free to use any photo's I post as long as it's not for profit(if photo's are used "courtesy" of someone, please note that if you repost them).

I am working on uploading the Price City Cemetery database (Price, UT is my hometown). My goal is to eventually research each burial, post obituary's and link to family members where possible. Besides all my family members this cemetery is the resting place for many friends, and people I knew or knew of, and so is very special to me. As of 7/14/12 THE DATABASE IS COMPLETELY ENTERED FOR BURIALS PRIOR TO AUGUST 2010. Please be careful posting a new memorial in Price City Cemetery with a death date prior to August 2010, as it will likely be a duplication. Sometimes the burial is recorded under a different married name, or a different spelling. There are instances of burials NOT being recorded in the cemetery records (likely one of the "unknowns" listed in the database), however, those are the exception. Only a portion of those I've entered have been researched and completed, but I'm working on it :)

I'm also a contributing Editor for the "Greeks in the West" tree on Ancestry.com. We are attempting to document the Greek immigrants who came to the Western states for the Western Hellenic Family History Library at The Magna Ethnic Mining Museum

If I have posted a memorial for your loved one, please let me know so that I can transfer them to you if they are not a relation of mine. However, due to numerous problems with transfer requests, I have had to adopt the practise of only transfering per Find a Grave's "direct 4 generation rule". I am happy to transfer your immediate family (spouse, children, grandchild, parents, siblings, or grandparents). I will no longer transfer outside of these relationships. Please use the "edit" function on the memorial you are requesting; state your relationship; and include your contributor #.

I am always happy to add or correct information, add links or update information.

You are welcome :) I noticed that Rosie Mae was not included as one of the 8 children. I have edited her information and hopefully it will be approved soon. She was married to William H Crandell and her find a grave # is 40057694. She is buried in our cemetery here in De Beque, Co

Thank you!
Oh, thank you, Lucia, for teaching me how to edit the sites here! I was afraid to try anything, as I thought the moderator of the individual sites was the only one who had the authority. I will get to it the next chance I get, and again, thank you! (now please delete my long messages to you. At least, I hope you can). :D p.s. Lucia, do you happen to have Italian heritage, and know some people in Price? Can you please email me, if you like? Thank you again!

RE: Tony Teano - Moyer, Viglia
Lucia, I'd love to hear more about Clara and their family, if you would share. I would love to add your story to her Ancestry profile page in my tree.

RE: Tony Teano
I'm so glad you told me you knew Tony and his sister! As a young child of 5 or 6 we (Blote's) took a car trip to Utah sometime before he died. I have brief recollection of sitting next to him taking photos. Mostly I remember he lost his thumb. Funny what we remember as children, no.

I've been learning he and Mary fell in love as young adults but her Father sent her away. So it was a love story after two marriages leaving her a widow to have found Tony again. Mary lived out her life in Utah far away from us in California, near her son Frank.

My Mother (Beverly June Moyer) had been told by Mary of her little girl along with another little boy that died before they were divorced around 1925. That's why Mary named my Mother, Beverly June, after "June" Beverly Lambert. I have yet to find divorce documents. The father of those two children, her first marriage, shot her and then himself in 1927 in San Francisco leaving her unable to bear children. Very tragic story.

I have asked Audrey to add her photo to your memorial. Once she does that I will delete my memorial.

RE: Moriyama edits- Price City Cemetery
Thank you for the info. I knew you must have had a very personal connection to the Carbon area by all the memorials you maintain there. My mother-in-law grew up in the mining camp of Wattis, and I heard so many stories of her childhood. I believe Wattis is on private land, but I've always wanted to see if I could find it and explore where the camp was. It must have been fun for you to explore the old camps and abandoned buildings.
Best Regards,
Brenda
