RE: Caroline and Aloysius Werner
Hi MJ,

Thanks for taking so much time with this. If you don't find them I guess we just need to let the Rev know to put a note on the memorials. It's looking more like Ellis is the actual husband of Caroline. I found another reference where he is listed as A.E. Werner. More research needed there.

I think you may have the same book Rev Dale used to make the memorials. I have noticed that he has taken some photos also. Maybe the others aren't marked!

Good Luck,
Evan

RE: Caroline and Aloysius Werner
Hi MJ,
I'm sorry you're having trouble. There are numerous Werners in the cemetery. One thing I noticed, though, is that all my records call Aloysius "Alois" or "Alvis". Also, his wife's name may be Mary Catharine or Catharine. He had two wives that were sisters. Their maiden name was Specht. Also, birth and death dates given for Aloysius are impossible, 1847-1972??? That's 125 years. The dates I have for Alvis are 1845-1922.

I just put in a request for a photo on Ellis Werner also. His bio sounds like he should be Alvis. The sons' names match up and his death date is the same. Maybe he has a grave marker!!

The main reason I wanted photos is that I thought the names and dates were all wrong. But, it doesn't help if they're not even there!! lol
Have you heard from Rev. Dale yet? He may have put these in from a cemetery list instead of actually walking the cemetery.

Associated names from the sisters' husbands would be Fegel, Strubhart, Pletcher, Hidock, Grief, Trumper. Gudehus, and one sister married Francis Anton Werner, who should be there, but.......

I hope this helps. Don't worry too much about it if you can find some of those others it might help.I appreciate your effort and wish you luck.

Thanks bunches,
Evan

I probably got the names from a book at the library.

Photo of Headstone - Roy Rust
Thank you so much for taking the time to photograph the headstone of Ella and Roy Rust. There is a bonus in the photograph - Ella's maiden name is Guinnee and I see a Guinnee headstone off to the left in the background! You made my day!
Sincerely,
Ann O.

Thank you so much for getting that picture of my grandfather. I live about 4 hours away and I do not have the time to drive down there so I really appreciate that you got that picture for me.
