|My name is Cathy and I am a married with 2 sons. I am also a nurse. I recently lost my Mom on 10-31-08. I never realized how hard this would be despite knowing I'd probably lose her all too soon. |
I would like to learn more about my family and perhaps locate missing family members on my Dad's side. I have posted using the name Thyan.
I'd like to thank all of you that have sent a kind word and would also like to thank Mario for sponsering my Mom's site. We've never met, but your kindness meant a lot.

I appreciate you wanting to do that. The only way to give me credit is for me to add the picture. So it will be fine with me if you add the picture and you have credit. That is okay with me. Debbie

Thank you so much for visiting mom's memorial and leaving a lovely token. I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope that you are doing alright. We always know this day is coming but it sure doesn't make it any easier. I'm also a nurse and deal with life/death at work, but when it's me, it's so different. You are in my thoughts/prayers.

I hope the workshop helped you and your Dad. The holidays are especially tough. You're right, this site has truly helped so many, and I've never met nicer people anywhere. It's an overall feeling of 'we're in this together' and it really makes a difference. I'm here for you if you need to talk, or just want someone to scream at for no reason other than they understand. Take care of yourself. You're loved and needed, and I know your Mom is proud of you. Good night.

I wanted to stop in and offer my condolences on the loss of your Mom. Mine's still with me, but I lost my Dad and I can sure relate to how you're feeling, trying to understand and cope with such a loss. Brenda said it best, get through "One Day At A Time". At first, I didn't think I could get through a second, much less a day. It's been 15 months now and it isn't as bad anymore, it doesn't hurt to breathe, and that feeling of walking on cotton and shareds of glass has eased. Please know that you and your family are in my prayers. God bless you.
