The red Dangler book I am refering to was given to me when my father passed on 14 months ago.
Copy right 1982 Routson & Stahl. It says, Dedicated to the memory of Richard Frqanklin Routson I. Son of Helen Cecelina "Lucille" (Dangler) (1912-1976) aand Carl Anderson Routson (191301975). Beloved husband of Vera Pauline (Benjamin) Rouston ( 1932- )

It then reads:

If it had not been for Richard's interest in his families, and help in researching through old records and cemeteries, this book would not have been completed.

Correspondence may be sent to :

Vera Pauline ( Benjamin) routson ( Mrs. Richard Franklin,I)
230 Cedar Court, Palatine, Illinois 60067

Susan ( Ayres) Strahl ( Mrs. Frederick R.)
113 Wolf Road, Prospect Heights, Illinolis 60070

Introduction
The geonology in this book is from one man, JOHN DENGLER, and his wife, who left their native Germqany community in Eastern Pennsylvania to establish a pioneer homestead in Putnam County , Ohio, in 1837. JOHN DENGLER is the common ancestor of all the /Dangler's mentioned in this book.

RE: John Dangler
As long as I know the memorial is in the family I don't feel I have to have it transfered to me.Does Lou have the Dangler Family Geonology book published in 1982? My father is Dean Dangler who lived in Jackson, Mi where I grew up. My Father's father was Ray Dangler also from Jackson, MI, just so you know. There are several Dangler's still living in Jackson.

You're welcome. My husband is a native of Stockport, Ohio and also an historian of that area.

RE: Jane Worthington Daugherty
Don't worry about the Brett thing-happens all the time. I am not related to the Daugherty family that I know of. I have relatives in Somerset Cemetery, and I went up there to see the graves. There is a Somerset Cemetery, and a Somerset Center Cemetery. Isaiah Daugherty is listed on Findagrave as being in Somerset Cemetery. http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=Daugherty&GSiman=1&GScnty=1256&GRid=8571901&

I think he may be in Somerset Center Cemetery, and I looked for him in both and did not see a marker, but the wind was very cold that day. I was hoping someone would find him in whichever cemetery he was in...As your hubby is related to Jane I will transfer her to you...

James Richard Guy
I tried to find a gravesite for you earlier this year. I was unable to find it. However...I did run across the following information I thought would be helpful to you: www.barry.migenweb.net. If you follow the cemetery link, and click on Woodland Memorial Park in Woodland Township, you will find info on James Richard (birth date: 6-26-1916 and death date 3-1-1949). Also, info on other Guy family members. Hope this helps!

Glad we could help. I have more photos from this trip to add, so maybe some others that will help.
