PLEASE - remember to only ask for a transfer if you are a direct descendant within the four generation guidelines. Otherwise, please send any information you would like added to a memorial for your aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. Thank you.

As an amateur genealogist with very limited funds, I believe that Find A Grave is an invaluable family history resource! The family names I am avidly researching include these surnames:
Anderson, Braswell, Byers, Dykes, Garrison, Hightower, Horn, Jones, Logan, Mooney, Patillo, Strong, Wiseman
There are many other affiliated names that are too numerous to list. The majority of the memorials I have created on Find A Grave are of my extended family, including numerous allied families.
I have created many memorials from cemetery transcriptions, and from other Find A Grave members' headstone photos. I welcome any corrections or additions to these memorials. Please use the Edit tab at the top right of EACH memorial to send a correction or suggestion. NOTE: I may contact you to verify your source(s) for the corrections. Please include your email address with your suggestion.
Transfers: Please read the Find A Grave FAQ regarding transfers. I do take care of all of the memorials I create, and will happily make edits, corrections, and add links. Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations (see the FAQ). All others please send corrections using the "Edit" tab at the top right of the memorial. Do not use public messages or direct emails as these do not include the necessary links to the memorials and your contributor page. Please include your email address in the correction notice, so that I may contact you if I have questions or need more information about the changes you are requesting.
Reminder: Find A Grave is a collaborative website, so if you see any memorial that needs more information, links, or corrections, please contact the contributor of the memorial to make these changes. Also, check out the Virtual Cemetery feature as the perfect way to keep track of all your family members' memorials.
